37 weeks

Well, today is a good day. I went to the doctor for my weekly check up and amazingly I'm 1 cm dialated and 50% effaced! Yea! Getting closer only 9 cm to go! We did find out that I have g.b.s. which I think stands for Group B strep. The doctor said it's not really anything to worry about. I will just need an I.V. with antibiotics when I go to the hospital. I'm so excited! Since we went to the doctor I've been having lots of contractions but not quite every 5 minutes. So I still have some time to go. Oh well at least now I can see a light at the end of the tunnel.
