Had to put this picture up because Liam has been sticking his appendages in the steering wheel of this thing. The other day he got his foot stuck and yesterday he got his knee stuck. Don't ask me why he decided to put them in there...?
Today we invited Grandma and Papa Lee over for a picnic lunch. Since it is still fairly warm outside we did it in the living room instead. We listened to Jenny Oaks Baker and ate grilled cheese sandwiches, fruit kabobs and ended with chocolate rice krispie treats.
Earlier today Liam and I went on a mommy/son date. We first went to Goodwill because it is half off day. That wasn't part of the date though. We headed over to the mall to play in the play area for a while. They have a really cool "reading adventure" play area that has giant books, blocks, crayons and pencils to climb on. Liam even made a little girlfriend that was a few years older. We played there for a while and then headed over to Candyland and I let him pick out a special candy. He got a bag of "Cars" gummies and a bag of buttered popcorn flavored jelly beans. (ok the jelly beans were really for me, but I did share) Then he got to drive the train on the carousel and also got to ride in the little bus. It was so fun to be able to go out and spend time together and to spoil him. We need to get out and do more things like this.
