Easter Traditions

We have somewhat combined some of our Easter traditions into special ones for our little family. Tony's family used to hide their Easter baskets so they had to find them before seeing what was in them. My family on the other hand always just had our baskets on the table for us. So now our family goes on a little bit of a scavenger hunt for our baskets. In the hallway the Easter bunny leaves a note as to where our baskets are. Tony came up with this little poem a couple of years ago and it is so cute and we love using it each year.

Easter bunny loves to hide,
That is his joy; that is his pride.
As clever and smart he may be
He is a rabbit and they poop and pee!
However, he is a magic bunny so they don't smell
Don't worry it is candy, so follow the trail!

We always leave this little poem in the hallway to read and then leave a trail of little chocolate eggs that lead to where our baskets are in the morning. It is fun! I can't wait to see Liam's face in the morning!
