Myrtle Beach Trip

The view from our backporch
Liam got eaten by an alligator at the North Carolina Aquarium! Ahhh!
But his daddy saved him.

The beach on a windy afternoon

My birthday at Captain George's seafood. Embarrassing!

Liam's first time crabbing

My little glow baby. We put glow necklaces around Liam when we went crabbing. It was so fun!

It was such a fun reunion and we were only missing 3 out of the bunch. Ben and Shanae had the only good reason not to come. They just had a little girl on Tuesday! Saige Carolina Lee was 9 lbs 1 oz! Big girl! She is so precious! I can't wait to see her!
It is so nice to get together with all the family from the east side. It was also Tony's first time further east than New Mexico (sad, huh?) Liam did great on the airplane. He was either awake and happy or asleep. I didn't want to come back. Carolina was so beautiful! I want to grow a garden. My step-grandma has a fabulous garden with tomatoes and okra and beans and tons of flowers. I loved it! I have become a big fan of fried okra and boiled peanuts. I already miss the southern food and we haven't even been back 24 hours yet!
While we were at the beach we saw lots of crabs of course and porpoises and I found a sea turtle that had washed up on the beach. It had gotten all tangled in a fishermans line and died. Liam and I even went on a long walk on the beach at 6 am and looked for sea shells. I want to go back so bad!

That looks like it would be fun! You were lucky that Liam was so good on the plane. Whenever I hear of a new mom getting on a plane i fear for them.
The only question is why didn't you come visit me??? :)

You sound like you had a great time! The photos were all cute and now I'm hungry for Southern food!
