New Page

Writing a new page in my book. This week I started working again. I haven't really worked since Liam was a few months old. The stay at home mom thing was what was best for our family. Now things are a little different. I kind of feel like I have just been waiting around to get pregnant and continue this family, but since that doesn't seem to be working out like I planned, I decided that I needed to get off my butt and start earning some money. I just happened to have a job sort of fall into my lap. One of my family friends was pregnant with her second child and decided that she was ready to be a stay at home mom. She needed a replacement for her nanny position that she had been working for the past almost 7 years and she told em that she kept thinking about me. So what do you say to that? Maybe she was receiving some sort of inspiration...? Who knows.
I have been working once a week since about February doing a few things around the house for the family, but this Monday I started taking over Poiette's nanny position and she ended up having her baby that night. Currently, I pick the two kids up from school, take them home, help them with homework and just keep an eye on them until their parents get home. There is a preschooler and a 1st grader both are really good kids. When school gets out for the summer, it will be a different story. I will be watching the kids 7:30 to about 6 Monday through Friday. It is going to be crazy with no family time for me, but I keep telling myself it is only for about 2 months then back to just afternoons. Although, we will be taking off for about 2 weeks in July which will be AWESOME! So looking forward to Colorado!
The job is just perfect for what we need right now. I am able to take Liam along with me and they pay the gas that I use driving to 2 different schools to pick up the kids and it is really good overall pay.
We are blessed.

I am so happy to hear that! It's neat when things work out so perfectly! Don't get discouraged about the whole not being preggo thing. I know that's easier said than done, but I'm a firm believer that when the time is right you will get pregnant. Until then...just have faith that things will happen on God's time frame. I love you! So glad you got an awesome job! I hope you love it. :)
